Why I'm Rebuilding My Life
A few years ago, my life started looking a lot different than I imagined.
I was diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), a disorder of the autonomic nervous system that affects how my body regulates things like heart rate, blood pressure, energy, and temperature. On the outside, I might look completely fine. On the inside? My body can feel like it's running a marathon while I'm simply answering emails, folding laundry, or walking across the room.
Some days I have the energy to create for hours. Other days, just taking a shower feels like an accomplishment.
And then there's ADHD.
My brain is overflowing with ideas, creativity, and ambition—but it's also easily overwhelmed. Executive dysfunction, time blindness, task switching, and burnout are things I navigate daily. Living with ADHD while running a business means I've had to stop trying to fit into productivity systems that weren't built for brains like mine.
For a long time, I felt like I was failing because I couldn't keep up with the pace everyone else seemed to expect.
Turns out... I wasn't failing.
I was trying to build a life around a body and brain that needed something different.

A blast through the past
Every brand I build starts with a story — and this one's mine. What started as a degree in a different field became a business built entirely on instinct, obsession, and the refusal to settle for generic.
2021
I graduated with my B.S. in Interior Design, convinced I'd spend my career designing physical spaces. Instead, a friend needed help with her website — and I said yes without knowing what I was doing. That one favor cracked something open.
2021–2023
I freelanced, taught myself branding and web design from scratch, and fell hard for the craft of building spaces people live in online instead of in person. Every project taught me something new about strategy, story, and what actually makes a brand feel like home.
2023 to Today
I invested in Becca Luna Education to master Showit — and Rebel Era Studios was born. What started as a leap of faith is now a studio built for women doing the same thing I did: betting on themselves. Today, I help other self-employed women turn scattered ideas into brands and websites that finally feel like them.
